Create search regions

It is easy to create your own customized search regions -- called My Search Regions -- containing one or more counties.

  • Find the drop-down box in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, labeled "Searching..."
  • Choose "Edit My Search Regions", located under "My Search Regions"
  • You will see a page explaining the My Search Regions feature. Click "Create new court search region" or "Create new recorder search region".
  • All of the counties and cities available on Doxpop will be listed, with check boxes next to each one. Click check boxes of counties you wish to include in your region.
  • See the map for reference. Counties will change color when chosen.
  • Type in a region name. This can be anything that will mean something to you.
  • Type in a description. Again, this is solely for your use.
  • The Region Type (Court or Recorder) is already chosen.
  • Click the [Save Region] button.
  • The search region you just created will be your selected search region until you change it by selecting a different option from the drop-down in the upper right-hand corner.

If you wish to make changes to your saved region:

  • Click on the circle to left of the region and choose either the [Edit] or [Delete] button.
NOTE: If you want to search for all Doxpop counties, or only one county, you can also select one of these options from the drop box in the upper right hand corner.
