To set up your calendar, you need to have at least one case saved in My Saved Cases and/or a bar ID. Once you have saved a case or entered an ID, you can view your calendar by going to the "My Doxpop" tab and clicking on "Calendar". You will see something similar to this (a partial view is shown here):
The IDs panel is the key for color coding and at-a-glance viewing. Find the IDs panel (a rectangle to the right of your calendar). Note that you can have multiple bar IDs entered (they will be automatically color coded), allowing you to see multiple lawyers' schedules at a glance. Even if you do not have a bar ID, cases collected in My Cases will appear on your calendar. Want to show only one bar ID or information from only one county? You can remove the schedule of any ID by clicking the check box next to the ID in the "IDs" box to the right of the calendar. Want to add a new bar ID? Just use the "Add an ID" link at the bottom of the IDs box.
To see more details about any of the events on your calendar, simply click the colored bar for that event. A box will appear containing the case ID, name, and location of the event. Click anywhere on the box to make it disappear. This can even be done with cancelled items, which still appear, but with strike-out text.
There are three different views of the calendar: monthly, weekly, and daily. The monthly view is shown above. To look at just one week, click on the words "week x", found on the left hand side of your calendar. Retrieve a daily view (shown below) by clicking on the date, found in the upper left hand corner of each day.
Designed to save time and help you stay organized, our calendar is just another way Doxpop is tailored to meet your needs. Enjoy.
