Create search regions

It is easy to create your own customized search region containing more than one county.

Select a panel below for step by step instructions:

Move your mouse to the lower left of the video below to pause and access other controls:

  1. Find the drop-down menu in the "Search Court Records" box, labeled "Search Region"
  2. Choose "Edit My Search Regions", located under "My Search Regions"
  3. Click the button on the My Search Regions page.
  4. Select the Region Type from the drop down menu (Court, Recorder, or Tax Warrant).
  5. Type in your region's name.
  6. Optionally: You can add a description - This is solely for your use.
  7. All of the counties available on Doxpop will be listed, with check boxes next to each one. Click the check boxes or the map for the counties you want to include in your region.
  8. See the map for reference. Counties will change color when chosen.
  9. When finished click the button.

You will be able to use your custom search region by clicking the Search Region drop down menu and selecting it accordingly.

  1. Find the drop-down menu in the "Search Court Records" box, labeled "Search Region".
  2. Choose "Edit My Search Regions", located under "My Search Regions".
  3. Select the button next to the custom region.
  4. - You can click the button to view the counties selected.
  5. Make your adjustments by using the map or the check boxes next to the counties listed.
  6. Click the button.

  2. Choose "Edit My Search Regions", located under "My Search Regions".
  3. Click the button next to the custom region.
  4. Confirm you want to delete and the custom region will be removed from your list.
